A COLLECTION OF GRAPHIC ART IN FAVOR OF CUBAN

May 2010 : Exhibition of Pablo Picasso's "Imaginary Portraits" series, in Holguin, Cuba, during the International Festival The Romerìas de Mayo. These works are part of the collection of 19 and 20th grafic works given to the Cuban people in January 2010.

 

 

 

Continuing with the Foundation's cultural exchange program with Cuba, Gilbert Brownstone enriched the cuban patrimony, its people and their cultural institutions with a collection of a hundred graphic works of 19th and 20th century artists.

 

The event took place January 25, 2010 at the Fine Arts Museum in Havana with a selection of nine works from the collection.

 

The collection will be exhibited at the Museum of Fine Arts in Havana at a later date and will then be available for exhibits throughout the island.
